Episode 2 Le Bonheur Children's Hospital
Since 1952 Le Bonheur has been committed to the community as the first comprehensive pediatric facility in Memphis. Le Bonheur Children’s mission works to be the leader in children’s health care in the Mid-South through high quality patient care, research and advocacy. Their vision is to be nationally recognized for the quality and depth of their services and excellence in serving children.
Episode 3 St. Jude Research Hospital
The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay. Unlike any other hospital, the majority of St. Jude’s funding comes from individual contributions. And thanks to those generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude.
Episode 4 Marie Wright Children Foundation
Marie Wright Children Foundation is a registered child centered organization focused on transforming the lives, families and communities of orphans and vulnerable children out of poverty in urban slum areas and remote rural areas of Uganda. As a faith-based organization, we strive to serve the ‘bottom million’ children and families with the least privileges, to break the cycle of generational poverty by providing for their most desperate rights and daily needs of safe water, sanitation, and hygiene, quality education and health and nutrition.
